US Golf Magazine, one of the most world-renowned monthly golf magazines, has biennially selected and announced 100 best courses among over 37,000 membership or public golf courses across the world for 71 years.
This magazine of authority regularly appoints 98 panels or professionals, including but not limited to, world-famous golf course designers, photographers, golf course owners, representatives of golf things suppliers, former and present PGA or LPGA tour pros, reporters and journalists, members of 100 best golf courses, major championship referees, and financial consultants,
as the committee of selection
to single out 100 best courses in
the world. ong them are Gary Player,
the former South African PGA tour
pro; Tiger Woods, the undoubtedly best golf player; Annika Sorenstam, the World Golf Hall of Fame member; Arthur Hills, the golf course designer of Bighorn Golf Club, US; R.T. Jones Jr., the golf course designer of Hansol Oak Valley;
Prakash Bhandari, the former 30-year-long PGA Masters Tournament referee and the current president of Golf Association of India; Thomas Crow, the founder of Cobra Golf Inc.; Michael Clay and Brian Morgan, the professional golf photographers; Terry Gestro, the sports producer for 88 Seoul Olympic and Emmy-award winner; Arnold Palmer, the legendary American professional golfer;
Jack Nicklaus, the 18 career major championship winner on PGA tour; Peter Jacobson, the PGA professional; Tom Weiskopf, the best-known golfers of the 1970s and the successful golf course designer.
With the Club at Nine Bridges being selected as top 100 courses in the world, Korea now retains one of the world's 100 best golf courses for the first time in 71 years of Korean golf history since the magazine started its nomination.
